Portfolio: Learning Programs We Have Built

Qaxufa has been designing English-language courses since 2012 from our office at Jaśkowa Dolina 146 in Gdańsk. Below is a selection of programs we have put together for schools, companies and individual learners across the region. Each entry describes the group, the format and the outcome we were aiming for. Some of these were one-off projects, others turned into ongoing arrangements — 156 of our 686 clients have come back for a second round of lessons.

Corporate Training

Business English for a Logistics Firm

A 12-week course for 18 employees of a shipping company near the Gdańsk port, focused on email correspondence, phone calls with overseas partners and contract terminology. Sessions ran twice a week, online, with recorded material for review.

Exam Preparation

Matura English Intensive Group

A ten-student group preparing for the extended Matura exam over one school year. We worked through past papers, writing tasks and listening drills, with progress checks every four weeks to track weak points.

One-to-one online English lesson for an adult beginner

Beginner Course for a Retired Client

One-to-one lessons, twice weekly for six months, for a retired client from the Wrzeszcz district who wanted to communicate during trips abroad. Lessons covered travel vocabulary, basic grammar and pronunciation practice.

A weekly after-school club for a group of 14 children, running for a full academic year at a partner venue in Oliwa. Lessons mixed games, songs and short reading tasks to build vocabulary without formal testing.

A short, focused package of eight lessons for a client preparing for interviews with international employers in the Gdańsk area. We worked on common interview questions, CV vocabulary and mock interview sessions with feedback.

A semester-long course for a student preparing a thesis abstract and academic papers in English. Lessons focused on structure, citation conventions and formal tone, with weekly written assignments reviewed and corrected.
